Members of the Lorain County League of Women Voters were represented in the International Festival Parade in Lorain, Ohio on June 28, 2026. The representatives dressed in white and wore sashes to represent the suffragist movement.
The group was organized by Beth Young, who recruited and organized participants, along with making the hats, sashes, signs and banner.
Ms. Young is also organizing marchers for two other parades this summer with the goal of boosting recognition for the Lorain County League and supporting voter registration. For additional information or to get involved, email [email protected]
